The game was updated to version 2.0:

This is a huge update that is mainly meant to make use of lower numbers — especially for the early game. The main allies have half as much HP, some enemies have only 3 HP, and damage is lower. On top of that, there were a couple major quality of life improvements:

1. You now fully recover after every battle, and regular enemies are usually more challenging.
2. You can now save the game at any location.

There were around seven other significant updates.

The free demo was also updated to version 2.0 with these major changes. The older version of the game is still up as well in case people want to compare the two versions.
